A Unified Story That Leads To Jesus

By Ben Fuller

One of the most helpful resources for understanding the Bible that I have ever found is The Bible Project. I was able to meet the founders, Tim and Jon, briefly at a conference and was happy to discover that they are as friendly and down-to-earth as they sound in their videos and podcasts. The Bible Project just celebrated their 10-year anniversary so to commemorate this milestone I thought I’d share a few of my favorite resources from their ever-growing library of videos, podcasts, articles, reading plans, and classes.

The mission statement of their company is, “We help people experience the Bible as a unified story that leads to Jesus.”

The first video that they ever produced is a helpful way to see what the Bible is all about. You can see that here.

If you want to explore this idea more, you can listen to their Heaven and Earth podcast series.

If you want to take a free seminary-level online course on the same topic, they have that too 🙂

Once we begin to see the Bible as a unified story that leads to Jesus, we also discover that we are part of this unfolding story. Using the Bible Project’s “Heaven and Earth” video as an inspiration, I created this graphic to creatively depict how our individual life stories are part of God’s story.

Seeing how our individual life stories can be part of God’s story of restoration is an important part of the Find Your Path journey, a program I created to help high school and college students clarify their college major and career path. If you want to find out if this program could be a good fit for you or your child, check out the Find Your Path Program.
